January 12, 2018 - Turtle Cay

I'm 5:45am- I woke up before the alarm to do a little stretching before our departure at 7:30am to Turtle Cay.  Dr Jim and his crew was promptly ready to go.  Beautiful morning.
This was a great anchorage area.
7:30am-  Off to Turtle Cay.
8:45-  Steve figured he might as well fish while we are motoring.  The water temperature is only 60.6F.  Won't be going in anytime soon.  Temperature is around 70F.  It is quite comfortable especially with the sun shining on us.

9:30am- Since there was wind, we decided to put up our main sail which gave us 1 kn knot more.  Beautiful!
We enjoyed the fried Mahi Mahi which we caught yesterday

1:00pm- From the gulf to the frying pan.  Steve and I enjoyed our fried up Mahi Mahi.  Can't get it any fresher and great way to get you intake of natural Omega.
1:35pm- The wind was right on the nose (the wind was coming straight at us) so we decided to take down the sail.  Winds are picking up and the water is getting a little choppy.
We are racing with time trying to make it to Green Turtle Cay by 3pm so we can make it to the Customs office before closing which is 4pm today.

3:45pm-  Wow...we made it just in time to clear Customs.  We hurried and put down our dinghy and picked up Nancy, one of Dr Jim's boat to report to Customs with us.  After filling out tons of documents, I found out I could of downloaded all the documents on line and filled it out prior.  We will have to remember that next year.
We picked up a mooring in White Sound at Green Turtle Cay.  Now we can relax.  Dr Jim went to a marina. The mooring cost us $20.00.  We covered today 67.20 nautical miles.

6:30pm-  Dr Jim invited us along with his crew Nancy, Kevin and John for dinner at the Green Turtle Club.  Came back to the boat around 9:30pm.
Our Fifty Point Burgee was still hanging at the Green Turtle Club since last year when we hung it.
