January 16, 2018 Marsh Harbor

January 16, 2018 Marsh Harbor then Hope Town

8:00am- Diane made us a wonderful breakfast while we showered at their condo.  It was a nice way to say goodbye as we parted.

9:15am- Stopped for fuel in Treasure Cay on our way out and headed to Marsh Harbour.

12:00pm- Arrived at Marsh Harbour.  Covered 15.1 miles.

1:00pm- We went to the grocery store and purchased a few groceries along with a kettle.  Our other one rusted from the bottom.
1:35- Steve called John who is moored with Terry in Hope Town and sailed with us part of the way last year to see if there were moorings at Hope Town.  He reserved one for us.
2:00- Left Marsh Harbour to Hope Town
3:10- Arrive in Hopetown.  We had to wait until the tides went up before going in the port.
While I stayed on the boat anchored, Steve took the dinghy inside the port to find out exactly where we will be moored. I witnessed another sailor motoring in the channel and got stuck.  He had to wait for the tides.

4:00pm- Finally went in the channel and hooked on our mooring. Went over to see Terry and John.  It was nice catching up with them.

6:15pm- Steve barbecued sausages while I made a salad.  Relaxed on the boat.
