February 15, 2018 - Goodbye Exuma Hello Eleuthera

6:30am- The wind is calm and so are the seas.  Let's get out of here before that changes.  Not that we didn't like Exuma Land & Park but Steve and I were itching to go to our next destiny which is Eleuthera.
We got to watch a beautiful sunrise.

Goodbye Exuma

Beautiful sunrise

9:50am-  The seas are calming and all is well.  Steve put a fishing rod out less than an hour ago but no luck so far.  It is crazy to thinks we are in over 5100 ft of water.

11:00am-  We just crossed from the Central Exumas to Southern Eleuthera at Cape Eleuthera.

11:30pm- Arrived at Cape Eleuthera and fueled up.  We then got a mooring with hydro and water.
After filling our water tanks, we soon went and did laundry and took a nice long hot shower.
Seeing that we stayed here before, it was nice that we knew the layout.
Yeah....good fast internet.  Lots of catching up to do.  We covered around 33 nautical miles today.

4:00pm-  Steve and I went to the restaurant for Happy Hour however it wasn't so happy.  It turns out that Happy Hour is only offered on Friday.  So 1 rum punch, 1 glass of wine and artichoke & crab dip cost $33.
We went for a walk on the beach and watched the sun set.  It was one of the best yet.  I questioned whether I saw the green flash that everyone talks about.
This sign was hanging up in the restaurant

Out for drinks

Love the swings on the beach

Gorgeous sunset

Went back to the boat and watched a movie.  Goodnight
