March 14 - 15, 2018. Marsh Harbour

March 14, 2018- Off to Marsh Harbor

10:30am-  Arrived in Marsh Harbor.  On our way into the Harbor, I noticed 3 dolphins around 100 ft from us jumping up and down.  I didn't have my camera ready however it was wonderful to see.

You would think it would be easy to find a hose for our propane tank especially in Marsh Harbor but unfortunately not.  There is a little pin hole in the hose and Steve figured it was a standard part.  Because no stores carry anything like that, Steve had to wraps electrical tape, duct tape and any tape that would prevent from propane to leak.  For now it works, however it will be something else we will need to address.

On the way back to the dinghy, we stopped in the liquor store to buy wine and rum.  We will get the beer tomorrow.

Such a gorgeous sunset
1:00pm-  Went to do groceries at Maxwell where they have good provision.  After spending $500.00, we had to take a taxi back to the dinghy.  The challenge was trying to fit everything in and bringing it to the boat without it getting wet.  We had to make sure we had all the proper snacks for when the grand children cone stay on the boat Friday.

Barbecued sausages for dinner and watched 3 episodes of 'The Fall'.

March 15, 2018 - Preparing for our visitors

We hurried and had our coffee so that we could bring our propane tank into town to get refilled.  If you drop it off at 9am, then you get it back by noon.
While Steve went to drop off the tank, I went to the grocery store to pick up things that were not available yesterday.  I guess Thursday morning is the best time to shop at Maxwells because they were really stocked. Steve met me there and then we stopped at the hardware store to buy rope and then we stopped at the beer store to pick up 2 cases of beer.
Forgot to say we stopped at the bakery to pick up the best cinnamon bun for me and a sausage roll for Steve so we could finally have our breakfast on the boat.

Steve read while I painted after having a late lunch.   I made sheppards pie for dinner.  Went for a long dinghy ride before watching the beautiful sunset.  Steve and I always have fun blowing the conch at sunset and compete with others who do the same.
Watched 3 episodes of 'The Fall'.
Big day tomorrow so we better get some sleep.
